Whilst we lost many rabbits to calici, there are some who touched us especially.

This is a horrendous virus, which we do not have a vaccine for in Australia.

Our home and family said goodbye to 39 rabbits over the span of two weeks, leaving us heartbroken for months afterwards. Unable to clean our cages, cuddle our rabbits and barely say goodbye.

Fortunately for me, I only lost a few, but that does not make this virus any less bad, nor does it mean I was any less affected. 
My heart broke entirely for those my family lost, and those many people lose all over the world.
