Endota

Cocci is a parasite which attacks your rabbits liver and intestines.

It is often fatal, but may be treated if caught in time.
Cocci is usually brought on from stress & can be transmitted between contact with another rabbits faeces.

Symptoms include:

• lethargy

• decreased appetite

• anorexia

• diarrhoea

• grinding of the teeth (a sign of pain)

Prevention may include:
Wearing gloves and spraying with disinfectant when/after handling any rabbit, treating your rabbits every few months with medications such as Baycox or Keystat, and keeping your rabbit in a stress-free environment.
